We wanted to post some of our albums that we have designed so that you can get an idea on what other couples have received. Each of our albums are designed from scratch for each couple. We work together with our couples to create a unique design that they will cherish for a lifetime. The prints are arranged into a single collage for each spread and then our printer and book binder permanently adheres these large collages to a hard surface which creates a single panoramic photo when opened. We have carefully selected our book binder for the quality of their work and multitude of options they have for their album covers, including custom covers with multiple leather choices, photo cutouts, metal and acrylic covers. This gives you the opportunity to create a wedding book that will be unique and completely different from what any of your friends have.
This is the design that Kari and James received for their album. One of their big additions was to have their wedding vows printed on one of the spreads. It created the perfect memory for them. The Chapel that they were married in is the Chapel in The Woods and has become one of our favorite wedding chapels in the area. Flowers were by Christina Garza who owns Fresh Blooms of Houston. The Reception was held at Augusta Pines Golf Club. This was a 10×10 book which lays flat when opened and measure 10 inches tall by 20 inches wide.

Nickie wanted to do her bridal portraits in a friends house due to the hot temperatures we were having. This was a beautiful house with tons of opportunities for the perfect bridals. Nickie is the sweetest person and so easy to work with. She was always up for anything that we suggested and with a smile!
As you can see, Nickie was radiant and has the most stunning blue eyes!

Beautiful!

This is the photo that Nickie chose as her large print to display at the reception. We liked her choice!![]()

This photo was taken for Brad. This was a gift for him on the day of the wedding.

We went downtown Houston and hit Eleanor Tinsley Park for Lindsay and Donald’s e-session. They were up for anything that we suggested and we had so much fun! They are the cutest couple and so in love! Donald kept us laughing and ended up having a good time even though he was not so sure about having his picture taken. It is always nice when they say, ” That was not bad at all. I was expecting it to be horrible, it was actually fun.” Stay tuned for Lindsay’s bridal portraits and their wedding. Their wedding and reception is definitely something you don’t want to miss. Thanks Lindsay and Donald for making this a great day for us! You guys ROCK!!!

We had a blast shooting Kelli and Tommy’s engagement session at Ashelynn Manor, where they will be married in April. Kelli and Tommy are so much fun and great in front of the camera. Tommy is the brother of one of our previous brides, Katie Willeby Jacobs and we absolutely LOVE this family! The love that Kelli and Tommy share is so evident and they are SO cute and perfect together. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we did creating them. We are STOKED for Kelli’s upcoming Bridals and their upcoming wedding!!!!
Every girl dreams of having a man look at her like this!

When talking to Elisha about her bridal portraits she told us that what she really wanted was to find a grand staircase in Houston to do some classic bridal photos on. With her wedding reception being at The Courtyard on St James we went on the hunt for a location that could provide the staircase. We ended up finding the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston and they allowed us to do some photos in their lobby and on their staircase. We have seen the Magnolia Hotel before but have not had the chance to do any events there so we were really excited about the shoot. For those of you that haven’t been to the Magnolia, it is a really edgy, super cool looking, old hotel in Houston. We did some traditional photos in the hotel and then kicked it up a notch with some really edgy shots of Elisha. After finishing up in the hotel, Elisha wanted to do some shots outdoors so we headed out to find parking around the Theater District in Houston. Something was going on downtown and the area was packed. We gave up and decided to head over to Rice University and spent a few minutes getting some really nice shots there. After it was all finished we ended up with some really edgy photos and some classic bridal shots that Elisha and her Mom loved.
One of our favorites at the Magnolia.

We loved the Magnolia Hotel’s lobby.

They have this cool green sofa in the lobby that Becca fell in love with.

Another bridal shot inside the Magnolia Hotel Lobby.

This is one of my favs from the shoot. What a gorgeous dress and veil.

Awesome capture by Becca at Rice University. I love this shot!

Another view at Rice University

Another one of my favs from Rice!

Becca and I want to give a HUGE, HUGE shout out to The Magnolia Hotel for allowing us to do some photography inside the hotel. Thank you so much!!
Keep an eye out for some photos from Elisha and Chris’ wedding at St Michaels Catholic Church and their reception at the Courtyard on St James.

When we met with Genifer and Andy to start planning their wedding, the first thing Genifer told us was that “traditional” bridal portraits were not her style. She wanted to do a “Trash the Dress” session at Galveston after the wedding. Genifer is full of personalty, spunk and true beauty so we knew from the start that she was PERFECT for a trash the dress shoot. We were stoked about this shoot from the moment they were married, and starting planning the date then. We started in an alley on the Strand in Galveston and ended on the beach. We had many onlookers and they were amazed at someone actually taking photos like this in their wedding dress. This shoot was SO much fun and Genifer being the trooper she is made this a great shoot. As you can see from the photos, Genifer is beautiful and had a ROCKIN personality! Genifer, we LOVED working with you and Andy for ya’lls engagements photos, wedding day and your trash the dress session. Thanks for allowing us to be along for the great ride! You two are a PERFECT couple and we love you both! Keep Smilin![]()

We would like to take a moment to acknowledge a special day in our country, Veterans Day! As we try to keep all of our fans and friends up to date with our lives and work through this blog, we feel we need to take a moment to acknowledge the men and women that have selflessly served our country. Becca & I have a bunch of of family and friends that are either Veterans in the military or currently active in the military and we appreciate their service. Recently, we attended the military funeral of one of my uncles at Ft Sam in San Antonio. This was not the first time I have attended a military burial, but it was the first time I had been to a Military Cemetery and it was an awesome sight. Seeing all of the markers lined up for as far as you can see was a very moving experience. It definitely helps you understand the number of people who have given their lives for our country. We are thankful for all of the Veterans who gave their time and their lives to ensure we have the freedoms and security that alot of us take for granted in this country. It is an honor for us to be able to acknowledge the sacrifice that our military personnel gave and are currently giving for us.
I would like to mention a local resource for our veterans which is the Lone Star Veterans Association. We heard about this group on the radio and thought it would be good to give them a plug here. They are an association that is not only for veterans of the old wars but they readily accept the Vets from our more recent conflicts. They are working to assist Vets as they transition from active duty back to civilian life.
Since this is primarily a photo blog we would like to add a couple of shots from a several of our Military Grooms. Becca and I thank all of you for your service.
Alex

Kevin

Thanks for your service Veterans, we Salute You!!

We first met Dana and her Mom at an open house for Cindy’s Palace and were VERY excited when she called and wanted us to be apart of her and Will’s special day. They were married at the First Baptist Church of Rosenberg. This is a beautiful church with the most magnificent stained glass. After the wedding, Dana and Will were so gracious to make time for us to capture some memorable photos of the two of them after the wedding. The reception was also held at Cindy’s Palace in Rosenberg. We are always excited to go back to Cindy’s Palace because they do an excellent job in making sure every wedding is filled with loads of fun!! We always look forward to having a glass, OK……..or many glasses of Cindy’s Palace iced tea….it ROCKS!!! We would like to shout out to Nancy at Cindy’s Palace for always making sure everything runs smoothly. Dana and Will were so much fun to work with! We wish you two a lifetime of love, happiness and contentment. May God continue to bless you always. Keep Smilin![]()

Elisha and Chris had a really tight schedule due to living in Austin and both of them working in positions that limited the days we could schedule their shoot. Basically they only had one shot at getting to Houston and getting their engagement session photographed in time to have prints for the wedding. No one expected Chris to come down with a stomach virus the day before and he was really wiped out on the day of the shoot. He was a real trooper and pushed through the session so he would not let Elisha down. Adding to the day, Chris’s groomsmen essentially told him that an e-session was the equivalent of getting your wisdom teeth pulled without anesthetic while under a Chinese water torture. Crazy guys! Elisha was so sweet and caring to Chris throughout the shoot and together they both made the session a real pleasure. After it was all over, we asked Chris if it was as bad as his friends told him and he told us it wasn’t bad at all and he had a lot of fun in spite of feeling so poorly. Here are few shots from their fun session!![]()

We had an awesome time with Elisha in Chris as we did some photography in and around Katy, Texas. Keep an eye out for upcoming photos of their beautiful wedding at St Michael Catholic Church and the reception at the Courtyard on St James!

After photographing Katie’s E-session 6 months ago, we were stoked to finally get her back in front of the camera for her bridal portraits. Katie is a natural in front of the camera and super easy to work with. Katie could SO get paid big bucks to model, she is that gorgeous! Katie was up for anything including climbing on top of a bar, laying on tile floors and any other crazy idea we came up with. From stately and formal to fun and sassy, Katie was willing to be our model for the day.
She wanted to do her bridals at Safari Texas Ballroom, which is where her reception was being held. The venue is huge and has alot of different areas that allow us to get a bunch of different looks. The first photo is one of our favs from the session.

As you have seen in the previous post, Erin and Ian’s destination wedding in Destin, Florida was featured in “Gulf Coast Bride“ magazine. This is the most recent magazine that we have been selected to be included in. Here are a few photos of the magazine. We were stoaked to be chosen to have our photographs in such a great magazine.

We had the honor of spending an entire week before the wedding in Florida on the beach with the families of Erin and Ian. As stated in Erin’s bridal post, Jo, Erin’s Mom, is Becca’s best friend and this was extra special for us, and we had a wonderful time hanging with friends on the beautiful beach in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
The day of the wedding, Erin and her bridal party went to Bella’s Salon for hair and make up. This was a great salon, and they catered to every need of the girls. Erin and Ian were married on the Solaris, which is a yacht which sails out of Destin, Florida. This was the most AMAZING setting for a wedding!! The wedding took place on the top deck, which gave us the most magnificent sunset we have ever seen. After the wedding, everyone moved inside for a seated dinner. There are no words to describe how wonderful the food was…..YUMMY!! The staff aboard the Solaris were amazing and so helpful. Music was provided by a live band and kept the party hopping. Gulf Coast Bride Magazine featured this wedding in their magazine, and we will blog all about this at a later date. Erin and Ian are very special to us, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness! Thank you for allowing us to share this special time with you and your families. We love you!!
Erin’s hair was so pretty and as you can see…she liked it too!
Beautiful cake by Southern Style Desserts….it was SO YUMMY!!

The first words that came out of our mouth when we saw the Chapel In the Woods was, WOW!! This is a chapel in The Woodlands, Texas and was the most spectacular church and we couldn’t wait to get started. Kari was the calmest bride we had seen in a long time, and so sweet and BEAUTIFUL!! James and his crew were loads of fun and kept us laughing the entire time. Kari and James are the perfect couple and the love they share is so transparent. After the wedding we headed to several locations on the grounds of the church for group shots, and this wedding party was up for anything, including climbing on rocks and jumping off. The reception was held at Augusta Pines Golf Club, and was the perfect setting for dinner and dancing. We are honored that Kari and James chose us to be part of their special day and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness and joy for many years to come. May God bless you always!

We had some bad luck when we were planning to photograph a beautiful outdoor wedding at Vargo’s when the rains came and forced Rena & Mike to move their wedding indoors. The grounds were in perfect condition and the flowers were as pretty as we have seen there. At least they have large picture windows giving us a nice backdrop. Rena and Mike started their day at the Hilton Westchase. They remained calm and collected and never let the weather dampen their spirits. Becca & I want to say thanks for allowing us to be with you on your wedding day.
Vargo’s at its best!
Rena had a very cool dress and something we had not seen before. The dress by itself was simple and elegant but it came with a train that was part of a jacket that Rena wore.
