Happy holidays everyone! I hope everyone had a very special Christmas and a safe New Years Eve tonight. The Holidays are always busy and this year was no exception. We really were swamped with our photography and our daily lives that I have once again fallen behind in posting. Hopefully in the next couple of days I can get some photos uploaded for everyone to take a look at. We have a wedding we did, a senior shoot, an Urban Trash the Dress shoot, an engagement and a number of other things that came up that I would really like to share with you. So check back as I will get some of these photos posted to share with all of you.

Finally, Becca & I would like to say thanks for making 2007 a great year. We would like to wish all of you a prosperous New Year for 2008. Be safe and take care.

I am amazed at how busy we have been the last 6 weeks. Several shoots and Elizabeths wedding. Hope you enjoy the updates.

I cant believe how long it has been since my last update. Alot has been going on from Elizabeths Bridals to a wedding that wasnt a wedding and Angelica and Dans engagements. It is really unfortunate that I cant post any of the Bridals as they were really awesome. Guess everyone will have to wait until October 21st so after Garrett sees his new Bride. Anyway, I will post some of what I can and I will really try to keep the delays between posts to a minimum.

Recently we took our daughters and their Papaw out for some fun and of course some fun in front of the camera. We ended up with some great shots of them and the girls had a blast with their Papaw. We were very excited to get some great shots of him. He told us that this was the first time he had his picture taken without wearing a “coat and tie” I think he liked the new style!!

We just uploaded a new and hopefully improved website. It has more slide shows that should actually work in all the different browsers. Let me know if anyone has any issues with it. I will be posting some more photos in a day or so. I am a little backed up due to having to the get the site up and running.

Here is a small teaser from the recent Model Shoot I attended. This shot was smokin hot!

My wife and I just got back from celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in the Dominican Republic and had an amazing time. We stayed at a resort called the Excellence Punta Cana and had a blast. I have a couple of shots from the resort. If you are interested in an all inclusive that is Adults only then I would recommend this resort. Nice friendly people, good service.
Oh, and it seemed that there was a wedding each day. I got a couple of shots of one of the brides just as she was walking “down the aisle” and a few detail shots of the wedding. I just finished up a Model Shootout Sunday and will be posting some shots in a day or so. Should be some really good pics.

I am happy to announce that Caffrey’s Photography is now a member of the Professional Photographers of America. This is an association of photographers dedicated to enhancing professional photography.

I finally finished the simple little website and it is up and running. You can check it out at www.caffreysphotography.com. It is pretty simple and straight forward as it was my very first attempt at creating a site essentially from scratch. Take a look around. I am still working on getting the recent engagement photos on the site. the couple just got the photos this weekend so in a day or so after they have had time to look them over I will post a small slideshow.
