Kelly’s Bridals at The Conservatory at Champions Forest

After planning to do Kelly’s bridals at Mercer Arboretum, Kelly decided that it was going to be way to hot outside in the summer heat to try to do her bridals there. She suggested that we go to The Conservatory at Champions Forest which is a Senior Retirement Living community. I couldn’t help but think just what could this place be like? As it turns out the place is AMAZING! What an awesome location for an indoor bridal portrait. The bottom floor has a gorgeous entry with a huge fireplace and decorations with floor to ceiling windows. Further in there is a grand staircase along side a baby grand piano. Needless to say we loved the location and Kelly was stunning in her dress.

Kelly Bridals at Ashelynn Manor

Kelly chose to go to Ashelynn Manor in Magnolia Texas for her bridal and engagement portraits since that was where they were getting married. We really love working at Ashelynn Manor since it has so many different looks around the property. If you have not been there it is an old plantation style mansion that includes a carriage house that serves as the main reception area. It has a grand staircase that you can see below. They built an amazing chapel next door that we were really excited to get to work in. Since the weather was so warm we spent alot of time inside using the staircase, the huge window and some rooms that have gorgeous light. We did get outside for some shots in front of and around the chapel. Kelly was gorgeous in her gown and so easy to photograph because of her sweet personality. We were looking forward to Kelly and Tommy’s wedding that will be coming up soon . This family is so loving and kind, and we LOVED every minute we shared with them. We had a BLAST at the wedding and reception and can’t wait to share the photographs. Keep an eye out for some ROCKIN pictures of their wedding.

Lindsay’s Bridals at Sovereign Farm

We went to Sovereign Farm, to do Lindsay’s bridal pictures and had the time of our life. Not often do you have an audience jumping up and down entertaining the horse to keep the horses ears up. We did not know that horses had a certain look for pictures, but now we know The owners there were so nice and accommodating. Lindsay is the sweetest person and made a BEAUTIFUL bride. We had so much fun and LOVED the idea of doing pictures with her gorgeous horse, Mia. Keep an eye out for photos from Lindsay and Donald’s wedding.

Nickie’s Bridals

Nickie wanted to do her bridal portraits in a friends house due to the hot temperatures we were having. This was a beautiful house with tons of opportunities for the perfect bridals. Nickie is the sweetest person and so easy to work with. She was always up for anything that we suggested and with a smile! As you can see, Nickie was radiant and has the most stunning blue eyes!

Elisha’s Bridals at The Magnolia Hotel in Houston

When talking to Elisha about her bridal portraits she told us that what she really wanted was to find a grand staircase in Houston to do some classic bridal photos on. With her wedding reception being at The Courtyard on St James we went on the hunt for a location that could provide the staircase. We ended up finding the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston and they allowed us to do some photos in their lobby and on their staircase. We have seen the Magnolia Hotel before but have not had the chance to do any events there so we were really excited about the shoot. For those of you that haven’t been to the Magnolia, it is a really edgy, super cool looking, old hotel in Houston. We did some traditional photos in the hotel and then kicked it up a notch with some really edgy shots of Elisha. After finishing up in the hotel, Elisha wanted to do some shots outdoors so we headed out to find parking around the Theater District in Houston. Something was going on downtown and the area was packed. We gave up and decided to head over to Rice University and spent a few minutes getting some really nice shots there. After it was all finished we ended up with some really edgy photos and some classic bridal shots that Elisha and her Mom loved.

Bridals with Katie W.

After photographing Katie’s E-session 6 months ago, we were stoked to finally get her back in front of the camera for her bridal portraits. Katie is a natural in front of the camera and super easy to work with. Katie could SO get paid big bucks to model, she is that gorgeous! Katie was up for anything including climbing on top of a bar, laying on tile floors and any other crazy idea we came up with. From stately and formal to fun and sassy, Katie was willing to be our model for the day.

She wanted to do her bridals at Safari Texas Ballroom, which is where her reception was being held. The venue is huge and has alot of different areas that allow us to get a bunch of different looks. The first photo is one of our favs from the session.

We developed a real friendship with Katie and her parents through all of the wedding planning and could not wait till the big day. It was going to be awesome. Erin is the daughter of my best friend, Jo, and I has watched Erin grow into the gorgeous woman that she has. We did Erin’s bridal pictures at Mercer Arboretum in Houston, Texas. I will be honest, when I first saw how incredible gorgeous Erin was, I was thinking, “How am I EVER going to get through this session without crying?” I made it, and that was a miracle! Erin has that fun spirited, loving personality that defiantly shows and makes our job SO much fun! We had a BLAST!!! Jo, her Mom, came with us and we even managed to get her is a few shots that she was not aware of….sorry buddy…….I HAVE to show everyone what a trooper you were We are a little behind posting these, so in a few days we will be posting photos from Erin and Ian’s AMAZING destination wedding in Destin, Florida aboard the Solaris with SunQuest Cruises.

We had an AMAZING time with Brittany while shooting her bridal portraits.We went to Mercer Arboretum and the weather was PERFECT.This was right after the large amount of rainfall and the bog finally had water in it.YEA!!!! We have wanted for a long time, to take a bride to the bog for some edgy photos. Brittany was all for it, no matter if she has to work around the mud, but luckily we were able to avoid the mud.She was such a trooper and SO much fun!!We had a great time. Thanks Brittany for making our day so WONDERFUL!!

Kelly’s Bridal at Mercer

We had the privilege of doing Kelly’s bridal portraits at Mercer Arboretum. It was a beautiful day, but not as beautiful as Kelly! She was amazing in front of the camera, and we are very excited about the outcome of the day. Kelly and her Mom, Ann, were so much fun and kept the day full of laughter.
