We went downtown Houston and hit Eleanor Tinsley Park for Lindsay and Donald’s e-session. They were up for anything that we suggested and we had so much fun! They are the cutest couple and so in love! Donald kept us laughing and ended up having a good time even though he was not so sure about having his picture taken. It is always nice when they say, ” That was not bad at all. I was expecting it to be horrible, it was actually fun.” Stay tuned for Lindsay’s bridal portraits and their wedding. Their wedding and reception is definitely something you don’t want to miss. Thanks Lindsay and Donald for making this a great day for us! You guys ROCK!!!

We had a blast shooting Kelli and Tommy’s engagement session at Ashelynn Manor, where they will be married in April. Kelli and Tommy are so much fun and great in front of the camera. Tommy is the brother of one of our previous brides, Katie Willeby Jacobs and we absolutely LOVE this family! The love that Kelli and Tommy share is so evident and they are SO cute and perfect together. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we did creating them. We are STOKED for Kelli’s upcoming Bridals and their upcoming wedding!!!!

We first met Dana and her Mom at an open house for Cindy’s Palace and were VERY excited when she called and wanted us to be apart of her and Will’s special day. They were married at the First Baptist Church of Rosenberg. This is a beautiful church with the most magnificent stained glass. After the wedding, Dana and Will were so gracious to make time for us to capture some memorable photos of the two of them after the wedding. The reception was also held at Cindy’s Palace in Rosenberg. We are always excited to go back to Cindy’s Palace because they do an excellent job in making sure every wedding is filled with loads of fun!! We always look forward to having a glass, OK……..or many glasses of Cindy’s Palace iced tea….it ROCKS!!! We would like to shout out to Nancy at Cindy’s Palace for always making sure everything runs smoothly. Dana and Will were so much fun to work with! We wish you two a lifetime of love, happiness and contentment. May God continue to bless you always. Keep Smilin![]()

Elisha and Chris had a really tight schedule due to living in Austin and both of them working in positions that limited the days we could schedule their shoot. Basically they only had one shot at getting to Houston and getting their engagement session photographed in time to have prints for the wedding. No one expected Chris to come down with a stomach virus the day before and he was really wiped out on the day of the shoot. He was a real trooper and pushed through the session so he would not let Elisha down. Adding to the day, Chris’s groomsmen essentially told him that an e-session was the equivalent of getting your wisdom teeth pulled without anesthetic while under a Chinese water torture. Crazy guys! Elisha was so sweet and caring to Chris throughout the shoot and together they both made the session a real pleasure. After it was all over, we asked Chris if it was as bad as his friends told him and he told us it wasn’t bad at all and he had a lot of fun in spite of feeling so poorly. Here are few shots from their fun session!![]()

We had an awesome time with Elisha in Chris as we did some photography in and around Katy, Texas. Keep an eye out for upcoming photos of their beautiful wedding at St Michael Catholic Church and the reception at the Courtyard on St James!

We had the honor of shooting Sheryl and Kevin’s engagement photos. They arrived in a 57 Chevy that was totally restored. WOW…is all we could say when they pulled up. We were in photographer’s heaven… adorable couple and one fine ride! We knew with the couple we had, and that beauty of a car, we would have some amazing photos. We started the shoot with the car of course, then off to downtown Katy for some fun on the caboose and two other cool locations. We ended the evening at Firethorn for some AMAZING sunset photos. Sheryl and Kevin were phenomenal in front of the camera, and their love for each other is electrifying. Kevin is off serving our country and we wish him a safe return home. Thanks Sheryl and Kevin for a WONDERFUL day and for allowing us to be a part of it!
Nickie and Brad were an amazing couple and we had a BLAST at their engagement session. We did some photos of Tyler with his Mom and Dad. He was such a trooper and was so much fun! We went to Mercer Arboretum and the grounds were beautiful. They were great in front of the camera, and our job was so easy. Nickie and Brad are a couple that everyone can tell how much they love each other, and their photos say it all. We are stoked for their wedding on July 3, at Safari Texas. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed shooting them.![]()
We could not think of a better way to spend Valentine’s Day than capturing the love of Brittany and Kevin. We went to College Station, home of Texas A&M, to shoot their engagement pictures since they both graduated from A&M. We had a great start at the Dixie Chicken, and then headed to the campus with Research Park being our last location. The weather was not being our friend with tornado sirens going off, thunder, lightning and a chilling rain which had us running for cover. Even though the weather was being a pain it did give us an awesome sky in some of the shots. Brittany and Kevin were troopers through it all and kept on going with our ideas, and made it possible for us to get these amazing shots. We are stoked about their wedding, May 23, 2009 at Cinco Ranch Golf Club. Thanks guys for allowing us to share your Valentine’s Day.
KEEP SMILIN!

We had an amazing time shooting Chris and Katie’s engagement pictures. It was a perfect day for outdoor photos and could not have asked for better weather for the month of January. They were incredible in front of the camera, and we were sure Katie had done some modeling before. She is absolutely gorgeous! Katie and Chris are so much in love and full of personality and it shows in their photos! We wish Chris the best of luck on his last year at LSU, and look forward to sharing their wedding day on July 25 at Safari Texas. Thank you guys for choosing to spend part of your day with us. We had a blast and loved every minute of it!
Just before the Holidays we had a blast working with Kelly & Will out in Needville. We met them at their home in the country and then went to a little place that had some awesome areas to do their e-session. Will was a little shy at first but you couldn’t tell by looking at their photos. Kelly is a beautiful girl and was full of giggles the entire time. They are super sweet together and it really shows in their photos. From listening to them talk about their wedding it is going to be a blast. We cant wait to be a part of that special day. Keep an eye out for some photos from that party.
Wow, we had a blast with Kari & James. We took a short trip up to College Station, home of the Texas A & M Aggies. Both Kari and James graduated from A&M and they really wanted to have their e-session done back at the old school. The local weather had been talking about rain and wind all week and we kept hoping that the weather would not be ugly. We ended up with a little breeze but an amazing South Texas fall day with an AWESOME sunset. Kari and James were so much fun and they really opened up to us. They gave us the nickle tour through various parts of the campus and told us about some of the traditions that were part of the areas we visited. A&M has so many amazing places to photograph and we were only able to make it to just a few places during our time there. We were so fortunate that they invited us back to the place that they spent so many days together and we look forward to going up to College Station to work with other Aggie grads.
The Century Tree – No Engagement photo on campus would be complete without a photo under this old Oak.
We had the honor of photographing Caitlin and Alex for what was basically a homecoming for Alex. They had been apart for a long time because Alex was stationed in Iraq with the Marines. He was only able to return for a couple of weeks for the wedding. Caitlin really wanted to have some photos of them at the wedding so we told her that we would make it happen for someone serving our country. Alex flew in on Monday, we did the shoot on a Wednesday and pulled an all nighter getting them processed and ready for them to view. They chose their photos and we overnighted them back from the lab to have for the wedding on Saturday. It was CRAZY!!!!, but worth it.
Cait and Alex were planning to spend the first night of their honeymoon at The Houstonian Hotel so she wanted to have her e-session photos done on the grounds of the hotel. The hotel has some awesome grounds that created the perfect backdrop for our shoot. Cait and Alex really opened up and let us capture the love they have for each other. I think you can see it in their photos. We had a blast working with them and feel honored that they spent part of their limited time together with us. Thanks guys for the amazing shoot!
Very Intimate!!
Can we say fun? We did an engagement shoot for terrific couple, Erin and Ian, and had a blast! Erin is the daughter of Becca’s best friend, so Becca has been waiting for this for a long time. They were amazing in front of the camera and their love for each other can not be missed. We wanted to take them to a graffiti wall in the Third Ward, but they were not feeling it. We convinced them it would be ok and off we went! Once we got there, they were in awwww of the art work and we captured some outstanding photos. We left there and set off for sunset pictures downtown. The sunset that night was breathtaking. It was so vibrant, that Erin commented that the sunset looked”fake”, but it was very much real. We laughed the entire time and cannot wait for their wedding in Destin ,Florida. We love you guys, and are stoked for June 13th!!
We are STOKED that tonight is the night that we get to meet Alex, a groom 2B currently serving in the US Marines in Iraq. I cant think of anything better than being able to meet him with his B2B Caitlin as we do their e-session tonight. We are truly honored to be able to be a part of Caitlin & Alex’s wedding. Alex has been in Iraq since we met Caitlin and booked their wedding. This will be his first time back home since I have known them and I know Caitlin is on cloud 9 right now. We only have 9 days until their wedding which means we will probably pull an all-nighter tonight getting the e-session photos ready so they can select one and we can get it printed and expressed to us before their wedding. WOW! We feel honored to serve one of Americas finest. As soon as we get some shots from their session at The Houstonian ready we will post them here for everyone to check out.

A couple of weeks ago we did an engagement shoot with a super sweet couple from Austin. They drove down and wanted to have sunset shots taken on the beach. The trouble is the sun doesnt set over the water in Galveston. The other issue we were worried about was the weather. It was completely cloudy and threatening to rain all day. As most of the native Houstonians know, wait an hour and the weather will change. We had planned to go to the Strand and get some urban grunge shots in before heading to the beach. After looking at the weather and deciding we would be better off going straight to the beach, sure enough the weather decided to change. It actually cleared off for a short time and we took some awesome shots with these amazing clouds over the Gulf. Afterwards we headed to a special spot that allows you to get the sun setting behind you over water and were treated to a SPECTACULAR sunset.
Kelly and Michael were a little nervous at first since we didnt get to go downtown but they quickly got into the groove and let their love for each other show. They were a super attractive couple that really looked romantic as they walked the beach. We were so fortunate that they allowed us to tag along for there engagement photos. Take a look and I think you will like the shots.

This bird sat on this post for probably 20 minutes and never moved.

We had a blast with Genifer and Andy in an awesome country setting complete with tractors, cows, ponds, rabbits and a snake that crawled over Becca’s foot. After she screamed, I dont think there was another animal around that came near us. She didnt drop the camera and ended up with some awesome shots from where she was standing. Gen and Andy were a blast and SO sweet together. They are full of romance and passion and have alot of fun together. We were so fortunate to be allowed to photograph them. We cant wait to shoot the bridals and wedding.

Last week we had spent the evening with Ebony and Aaron for the engagement shoot in Houston. We started off a little late due to the traffic around the med center but once we started shooting Ebony and Aaron got right into the shoot. Talking about a couple that wasn’t camera shy at all. They were super sweet and really showed their affection for each other. With the love they were pouring out and the amazing sunset we had, we were able to get some really awesome shots.

Ebony scared the daylights out of me when she just hopped up on the Sabine Street bridge railing(sitting of course) for some shots. This section has a 30-40 foot drop and I was really nervous. It didn’t phase her and we ended up with some great stuff.

Last week we had the opportunity to photograph Julie for her bridals. She was a blast and really opened up for us. She even walked out onto the rocks that led to a small waterfall at the location. I am really excited that she did because the shots were awesome. It is unfortunate that we cant post any of the them right now because we had some of the most colorful sunsets I have seen in awhile. After the wedding next month I will get a few of them up so you can see how pretty Julie was and how fortunate we were with the location.
This past weekend we had 2 E-sessions and took some awesome shots as well. We will get a few of Ebony and Aaron posted tonight and in a few days we will get some shots of Genifer and Andy posted. Our next shoot will take Ashton and Robert to an English red phone booth and Mercer Arboretum then in another shoot will be with Kelly and Michael at sunset on the beach. We are really looking forward to this weekend and it looks like the weather is going to be perfect.
Have fun everyone!!

Recently we had a blast photographing Sarah & Jeremy during their engagement session. These two were so much fun. Jerimy brought his guitar and sang to Sarah which was really sweet. They were very relaxed and Jerimy was constantly goofing around which made the shoot a blast. I think you will see what I am talking about. Here are just a few of our favorites.

Our recent engagement shoot was with Norma & David. They are a super nice couple that had told us that they wanted to do some casual shots in the park and perhaps get a little dressy and do some shots downtown. My idea of casual is usually a pair of jeans and a comfortable shirt. Their idea was a little different which made for some awesome photos. Unfortunately there was something crazy going on downtown on a Sunday night that really messed up the parking situation and we ended up just calling it a night but….. I dont think we missed much. Take a peek, I think you will like the pics.

Check back soon for a couple more amazing photos from this awesome couple. I am sure some of these will pop up on our website.
Have Fun!!
