Nickie and Brad were an amazing couple and we had a BLAST at their engagement session. We did some photos of Tyler with his Mom and Dad. He was such a trooper and was so much fun! We went to Mercer Arboretum and the grounds were beautiful. They were great in front of the camera, and our job was so easy. Nickie and Brad are a couple that everyone can tell how much they love each other, and their photos say it all. We are stoked for their wedding on July 3, at Safari Texas. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed shooting them.![]()

Just before Christmas we had the honor of photographing Caitlin and Alex’s wedding. Alex is a Marine and had been stationed in Iraq for the last year or so. He was able to get a couple of weeks leave and we did their whirlwind e-session the day after he came Stateside. They held the wedding at the Bolin Chapel in Katy which is part of the First Baptist Church in Katy. It is an amazing little chapel on the church grounds of Katy 1st Baptist.
The flowers provided by Fresh Blooms of Houston were gorgeous(Love your work Christina). Alex gave Caitlin the Manolo Blahnik shoes that were worn in the movie Sex in the City. Talk about a nice pair of shoes that really look good. It all ended up being a fun day with an amazing wedding with some cool shoes.
Awhile back we did a shoot with one of our future brides Caitlin. Her fiance, Alex, is a Marine stationed in Iraq and she wanted to send him a nice photo of herself for his birthday. We had to keep everything top secret so it would be a surprise which is part of the reason for the delay in posting it here. So we took Caitlin to a local spot to get some some nice shots of her. The entire time she kept telling us how she takes terrible photos. After we started shooting, I had to stop and ask her if she was sure she had never modeled before. She was giving us some smoldering looks that just had to be for Alex. The shots turned out great and we were stoked to hear Alex’s reaction. Caitlin couldn’t keep a secret and spilled the beans so Alex knew they were coming, he just didn’t know what they looked like. We heard he was pretty excited about the photos. We are praying for him to get back home safely and be able to do their engagements and then their wedding. Take a look and feel free to comment on the photos.

I just wanted to send a message to all of you that keep up with us on our blog. Becca & I want to wish you a very happy and safe 4th of July. We will be taking the day to play around and hope all of you get to do the same. We have Ribs on the grill, ice cold beer and Margaritas in the cooler and I am going to make a very rich bread pudding with a white chocolate Jack Daniels sauce. YUM!!! Cant wait for that. (most of you probably didnt know but I grew up and have spent most of my life cooking.I probably could have gone to culinary school if I had wanted but photography is ALOT more fun!)
Everyone be safe and have fun. We have alot of photos that we will be sharing with you in the coming week so stay in touch.
HAVE FUN!!!!!

Last weekend we had the pleasure of shooting Jen, an amazing mother of 2 and Laramie who is on the way. Jen is super sweet and has the most adorable little girls with sweet rosy cheeks. We even let Dad get in on a shot. We had a blast doing the shoot and a big thanks to Robert with R & J Photography for letting us use his studio. Take a look and I think you will agree that these are some awesome shots. Be sure to leave a comment for us.
